Madison Reed launched its first pop up location in New York in 2017 and I was on the team that brought that pop up to market. After a successful launch, I was given the responsibility of leading design for all new Hair Color Bars. As the Lead Designer, then later Art Director, I worked closely with store design to bring our brand to life in a four-wall space. From windows and wall graphics to store signange, photography, buildout barricades and marketing initiatives…I was responsible for all visuals—ensuring a cohesive client journey though the space. I also developed the streamlined processes that led to the organized and on time delivery of assets for over 60 locations, the delivery of special campaign art, and the redesign of visuals and messaging based on client research.

Large format model photography in the Hair Color Bars. I designed several different photography compositions to use based on the layout/size of each individual bar.

I partnered with our digital team to develop a touch screen interactive unit to assist customers in finding their perfect shade
Hair Color Bar Marketing
I designed the custom window coverings/barricades for construction for the first 45 locations. I started giving design direction to designers to execute the latest 20+ locations. They acted as billboards for marketing new locations.
I designed 20+ of Out of Home ads and campaigns for Madison Reed Hair Color Bars. They led to a 25% increase in bookings in our New York Locations.
I designed all of the printed collateral pieces for marketing and PR.
I designed several different versions of the menu that vary in price from market to market. I organized and led the execution of price changes in graphics across 7 price markets 4 times.
