The Challenge

Madison Reed was entering a crowded haircare category dominated by legacy brands with strong retail presence. While the brand was known for hair color innovation, we needed to introduce a new haircare system that clearly communicated its unique value: customizable care designed specifically for color-treated hair. The challenge was translating a complex product story - shampoo, conditioner, and pigment boosters tailored to hair type and hair color - into a launch campaign that felt intuitive, visually compelling, and easy to understand across ecommerce, social, and retail.

The Solution

We built the campaign around a simple idea: haircare should adapt to you - not the other way around. Creative centered on personalization, using bold product visuals and pigment-rich moments to show how customers could customize their routine with blonde, brunette, or red boosters. The system was designed to scale seamlessly across digital, social, retail, and ecommerce, creating a cohesive launch experience across the brand’s omnichannel ecosystem.

The Impact

The ColorSolve launch quickly became one of the brand’s most successful product introductions. In the first month alone, the campaign drove 86% more units sold than forecasted, demonstrating strong demand and validating the power of the customization story. The launch also expanded Madison Reed’s presence in the broader haircare category, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for innovation beyond hair color.
